Amsterdam Embroidery Workshop

** IMPORTANT: From January 2026 all of our Crafts Cafè workshops, courses and lessons will take place in our Amsterdam West location at Van der Hoopstraat 70HS, 1051 VK Amsterdam. In December they are still taking place at our De Pijp location.

Celebrate 750 years of Amsterdam with the wonderful art of embroidery! In this workshop, you’ll learn four basic embroidery stitches and create a Dutch inspired artwork as an ode to this beautiful city.

The workshop includes embroidery tools and materials, as well as a pattern in case you don’t finish your work during the workshop.

In the workshop you will use/learn the following stitches:
– Back stitch
– Stem stitch
– Satin stitch
– Lazy daisy

This course is also available as kit in our Craft Store and is the perfect gift for friends and family!
