Beginner Lingerie Workshop: Lace Thong

Have you always wanted to learn to sew your own lingerie, but you don’t quite know how to start? This workshop is the way to go!

In 3 hours you will learn how to use a sewing machine, learn how to work with lingerie patterns and materials, and sew your own lace thong. Our lingerie expert Leanne from Lunar Laces will guide you through all the steps.

You can choose between a wide variety of colours of lace/fabric and create something unique.
This workshop is a great start if you want to enrol later for one of the more advanced lingerie courses.

Leanne van Steensel van der Aa started sewing lingerie some years ago at De Steek, and has been obsessed ever since. Since then, she’s taught herself all about lingerie pattern drafting, fitting, materials and design. Leanne also launched her own lingerie brand: Lunar Laces. At De Steek Leanne shares her love of lingerie sewing by teaching you how to draft lingerie patterns to achieve the perfect fit, teach you about all the different lingerie materials and how to use them, and the techniques you need to know to create the lingerie of your dreams.
