Craft Café – Amsterdam De Pijp

Join the Craft Café lessons and get help with your crafting projects!
Craft tables are available with tools and guidance of a fashion designer or crafter to help you with your own projects.
You can bring your own project or pattern to the lessons (knitting, crochet, punch needle or embroidery). We can help you with the different techniques, pattern(s) and/or stitches. Our store also offers a wide range of patterns, yarns & books for sale, if needed. We also have a library of (vintage) crafting books that you can use as inspiration. All levels are welcome, also complete beginners, we will teach you the basics of the craft mediums you’re interested in (including knitting, crocheting, embroidery, and punch needling).

Did you make a reservation but suddenly you’re not able to come anymore? You can still cancel or change your lesson latest 24 hours before the lesson starts without losing your lesson. Materials, patterns & tools
Tools are included in the lessons (like pins, needles, scissors and measurement tape). Knitting needles or embroidery hoops are advised to bring yourself (or buy) if you want to continue working from home. Materials you have to provide yourself are fabrics, yarns, and more.
We also have a little craft store at our studio, so it is also possible to purchase the materials there. Or we can give you tips in the lessons where to go for extra materials, if needed.
If you work on a specific pattern or project, please send an email first with the pattern or picture/drawing to depijp@desteekamsterdam.nl.
