K&N Yarn Takeover: Crochet Workshop by Cucurucu Crochet (Amsterdam West)

Guidance and design by Saar of Cucurucu Crochet
Date: Friday August 8
Time: 2.00 PM – 5.00 PM
Level: intermediate
Language: English

In August our beloved partner Knits and Notes will fill a pop-up at our studio at Van der Hoopstraat 84H in collaboration with 4 really special crochet designers. Expect reduced prices in their amazing patterns, but also in-depth workshops, a yarn swap and special maker event.

One of the workshops is by talented designer Saar from Cucurucu Crochet. Follow her intermediate workshop on Friday August 8!

In Saar’s workshop you’ll learn how to embroider with a crochet hook (surface crochet). This technique is explained in her Lucy waistcoat pattern, but it can be used to decorate lots of different crochet projects. In the workshop, we’ll make a cute wall decoration for you to take home.

About Saar
Saar, the face behind Cucurucu Crochet, like so many others, picked up crocheting during the pandemic, and has been hooked ever since! When she started designing crochet patterns, her main inspiration was the style of the 1970s (think flared sleeves, groovy patterns, and earthy tones). Now her focus has shifted to delicate, lacy crochet designs, inspired by nature. Fun fact: her goal is to design a crochet pattern for every letter of the alphabet, and she only has 4 letters left!
