Learn how to turn your own designs into crochet tapestries! In this three-hour workshop, you’ll learn how to design and create a pixel pattern, and how to convert it into a crochet tapestry using just a crochet hook and (min.) two skeins of yarn.
Tapestry crochet is a technique that allows you to create intricate and beautiful patterns by working with multiple colors in a single row. As someone who’s been practicing tapestry crochet for over 4 years, I can tell you that my first projects didn’t come out looking nearly as neat as I’d hoped. Luckily, there’s a steep learning curve when it comes to tapestry crochet, and this workshop will help you improve your craft in no time.
In this workshop, you’ll learn different ways to switch colours (incl. tapestry crochet, intarsia, carrying through and floating yarn), and when to use which technique.
This workshop is beginner friendly: if you’re familiar with the basics of crochet (chain, single crochet), tapestry crochet should be a breeze.
All materials are included: you will get a 5 mm crochet hook and matching colourful yarn with this workshop (also to take home).
