Puff & Pencil Boatneck Dress Workshop – Amsterdam West

The BOATNECK dress is fitted around the upper body, but it has width from the hips down. The dress has front and back panels that provide shape, as well as darts. The dress features a boatneck neckline and an invisible zipper closure at the back. The dress is unlined but has a facing at the neckline and armholes when sewn without sleeves.

This pattern is designed for woven fabric types. Choose fabrics with a bit of elastane for greater flexibility. Fabric types such as poplin, woven viscose, and cotton twill all work well for this dress.
