If you already have some experience and want to take your quilting knowledge to the next level or if you have completed our beginner’s course , you will love this new class hosted by Ana from CocoWawa Crafts. On this 2-day workshop, you will learn how to master curved piecing in order to create the popular Dewdrop quilt, also designed by Ana. From cutting and assembling to machine piecing, students will also learn about different types of fabrics and batting, best quilting tools to use for curved piecing, as well as lots of tips and techniques to create the perfect quilt.
Topics to cover:
> Curved machine piecing to create the quilt top: cutting, pinning, seam allowances, pressing.
> Basting quilt sandwich: top, batting, back.
> Quilting your quilt.
> Bias binding to finish it off.

> Tips and tricks, tools, materials
With this course the materials are excluded but the pattern is included. You will get a little list with everything you need. You just have to purchase the materials; all tools and machines are included. If you don’t know what to buy before you come or you need some advise, you can also purchase all materials in our little store. Then you can choose between different organic fabrics. The batting we sell is from cotton, so all materials are animal-free as well (no wool is used).
