Sewing Lesson: Tube Skirt or Top – Amsterdam De Pijp

With this package it is possible to follow 2 hours of lessons in our Sewing Café and you can choose the materials in our store to develop your own tube top or skirt. You can choose between different sustainable fabrics in your class (all materials included). With this lesson you will use our tube skirt or top pattern from De Steek collection. This package is a nice way to learn the basics on the serger (creating the seams) and to learn to work with stretchy materials on the sewing machine (finishings).

It is possible to make these items straight forward (no gathering added) or you can choose to make it with some variations (adding gatherings or splits at different spots). You can also choose the length of your skirt and top in class (make a short skirt or longer).

We use a beautiful Tencel/Modal fabric for these items. We have these fabrics in light blue, grape and dark green fabric in stock. But there are also a few other options and colors as fabric choices for this workshop (for example also a black rib version).
