Sewing Workshop Series: Corset

Do you want to dive into corset making, but don’t quite know where to start? In this 2-day course you will learn how to alter a basic fashion corset pattern to your own personal style, as well as learn the basics of corset making, such as sewing boning channels, working with lining, sewing binding and applying grommets.

A fashion corset is an adjustable underbust corset, which is usually worn as an accessory over dresses or as a lingerie piece. Because it is adjustable you can wear it as tight or loose as you prefer, which makes it a very comfortable item of clothing.

Skills Required:
In order to participate in this workshop you need to know how to use a sewing machine.
