In this beginner workshop you will make your own wall tapestry artwork and learn two techniques: macrame and weaving. In the first class you will learn macrame knots and apply them to build the base of your very own macra-weave tapestry. In the follow-up class you will learn weaving essentials and will apply them to your tapestry to give your artwork color and texture. Materials are included in this course. No prior experience is necessary.
*To finish the macra-weave in time, it is usually needed to do some homework in between the two sessions.

About Hannah
Hannah is an American fiber artist based in Amsterdam. She has an undergraduate degree in fine arts from the US, and although her career led her to the corporate world, she spends all of her time outside of work either creating art or thinking about creating art. Her favorite techniques include macrame, weaving, pottery and crochet but she also loves jewelry making and sewing. She recently opened her own business, Tethered Twine, and started selling her artwork on her webshop.
