On Saturday September 16 you can come and exchange all your clothes & accessories, which you are already tired of, but are still in great condition, for other fabulous items. Besides being super fun and satisfying your shopping urge, you also contribute to a cleaner environment. And it’s also nice for your wallet!

Have you found a piece of clothing that just doesn’t fit or do those long pants look much better than shorts? Then visit our upcycle and repair corner, we are happy to help you! Even if you have something at home that you don’t want to exchange, but want to repair or upcycle, you can take it with you, we’re happy to help you with that too 😉
Cafe
And the Sewing Café wouldn’t be the Sewing Café without snacks and drinks. Also this time vegan snacks and drinks are available to satisfy your hunger and thirst from all that shopping and swapping.
Ethical Nomads – interactive lecture
This time, De Steek joins forces with Mamo from Ethical Nomads. In advance she prepares one or more topics related to sustainable fabrics and fashion, which she discusses in our workshop space. More information about the topics will follow on our social media!
Booking
A ticket costs 5 euros. That includes repair help and following the lecture(s). You can also bring this edition as much clothes as you want and take back as much as you like! Get you tickets here >>
A few house rules:
-De Steek’s clothes swap is not a dump for unwanted items. Make sure the items are good to go to a new home and are clean and in tact.
-Underpants, rags and items alike are not welcome.
-You are welcome to bring and take as many items as you like. However, sourcing clothes for the purpose of reselling is NOT allowed. If we suspect this, you will be asked to leave the swap.
