Upcycling Lesson: Shirring – Amsterdam De Pijp

Upcycle a garment, like a t-shirt, skirt or classic button-up shirt in our Sewing Café!

In just one hour you’ll bring new life to an old clothing item with shirring. This technique can be used and manipulated in many different ways to personalise and upcycle a garment, making it uniquely made by you!

It’s possible to book your shirring lesson in our Sewing Cafè. For this lesson you can bring one of your own items from home.

Level: Beginner
Language: English and Dutch

*It’s always possible to prolong your stay if you want to keep shirring more items (if there is enough space in the Sewing Café) In one our you can at least add shirring to one item. Book more slots if you want to add shirring to more than one item.
**Don’t choose any sturdy fabrics, but choose garments with a thinner material, like jersey or viscose.
