Puff & Pencil Copenhagen Skirt – Wrap Skirt Workshop

De Steek has hooked up with Puff and Pencil! A match made in heaven as we both want to make sewing accessible for everyone. We will be selling their patterns in our Shop and offer workshops where you can learn how to make them at our Sewing Café!

For this first workshops, we will together create their pattern: The COPENHAGEN skirt.
This is a low-waisted wrap skirt with two ties at the front side. The skirt features a wide waistband and an asymmetric front overlap.

Join us in the sewing cafe during this 8h workshop (in two sessions) to create the Copenhagen Skirt from Puff & Pencil.

This workshop includes the printed pattern and use of the needed tools and machines. Materials can be chosen in- or excluded. Bring your own or choose from our fabric store!

Level: Suitable for confident Beginners; You’ve worked with a sewing machine before, know the basic stitches and sewn one or several beginners items

Language: English & Dutch

Fabric recommendations:
This pattern is designed for woven fabrics. Choose fabric that has a bit of structure and does not drape too much or wrinkle easily. Fabrics such as taslan, denim, linen, woven viscose, and cotton twill all work well for this skirt.

Fabric requirements:
For fabric width of 135 cm:
XXS – S (0-6): 85 cm (1 YD)
M – L (8-14): 100 cm (1 1/4 YD)
XL – XXL (16-22): 135 cm (1 1/2 YD)

For fabric width of 145 cm:
XXS – S (0-6): 85 cm (1 YD)
M – L (8-14): 100 cm (1 1/4 YD)
XL – XXL (16-22): 115 cm (1 1/4 YD)
