Beginner Embroidery Workshop 2.0

This follow-up class is perfect for those who have completed our first beginner’s embroidery class and are ready to expand their stitching repertoire. But you can also join this workshop if you didn’t follow the first one, but really would love to learn the stitches you see below.

In this 3-hour session, students will delve into eight new and exciting embroidery stitches. Guided by our expert instructor, you will learn to master the following stitches:

– Threaded Backstitch
– Couching
– Fishbone Stitch
– French Knot
– Lasy Daisy Stitch
– Long & Short Stitch

Throughout the class, you’ll receive guidance and practice time to ensure you feel confident with each new stitch. By the end of the session, you’ll have a beautifully stitched sampler showcasing your new skills, ready to incorporate into your future embroidery projects.

Whether you’re looking to refine your technique or simply enjoy a creative afternoon, this class offers the perfect blend of instruction and hands-on practice. Embroidery thread, fabric, and a needle is provided, all you need to bring with you is your embroidery hoop, your enthusiasm, and creativity. You do not necessarily have to have taken the first embroidery workshop at De Steek. If you have already gained embroidery experience in another way, you can also join this workshop.
If you do not have an embroidery hoop, you can buy one in our Craft Store!
