What are we going to do?
In this two-day workshop, we are going to make a quilted tote bag that measures 46cm x 34cm x 9cm,
perfect for shopping days or to carry around on your daily routine.
_
What are we going to learn?
1. How to piece together the two outer layers of the tote bag, sewing each square in rows and then adding
the bottom part.
2. The sandwich stage in which the outer shells of the bag and the wadding are joined together.
3. You will also learn how to quilt those layers and sew them together to create the main structure of the
bag.
4. After that, we will add the lining and straps.
5. Basic sewing and quilting terms, best tools for beginners and block piecing techniques.
6. You will also leave the course with instructions on how to recreate this tote bag again as well as a
summary of everything else you have learned at the workshop.
