Discover the art of macramé in a fresh, wearable way! This beginner-friendly workshop introduces you to the fundamentals of knotting while guiding you through a complete 3-hour project: a macramé skirt that doubles beautifully as a wrap-style shawl.
No prior experience is needed, our craft teacher will walk you through the core knots and techniques step by step. You’ll learn how to set up your yarn, create decorative and structural knots, and build rhythm and tension as the piece develops. Expect a playful, meditative process with plenty of hands-on support.
By the end of the workshop, you’ll walk away with your own finished macramé piece, ready to style around the waist, drape across the shoulders, or incorporate into your wardrobe however you like. It’s an accessible introduction to macramé that gives you both a new skill and a unique, handmade garment.
All materials are provided so you only need to bring your curiosity and creativity. Join us for a relaxed session of knotting, making, and experimenting, and experience how satisfying textile craft can be.
No previous macramé knowledge required, but those who have done macramé before are welcome too!
