Own Upcycling Project in the Sewing Café with Guidance

If you’ve been dreaming about all the things in your closet you’d like to upcycle but still need some assistance with the specifics then book a slot in our Sewing Café! We have 6 tables available with tools and machines. Our shop is also filled with things you may still need to buy for your project including thread, buttons, and fabric.

Our schedule is variable. In the schedule you can see which time slots are still available and which are not. It’s possible to book a single time slot or you can also buy a multiple lessons in once (which is more convenient if you come more often and also cheaper per lesson). Did you make a reservation but suddenly you’re not able to come anymore? You can still cancel or change your lesson latest 24 hours before the lesson starts without losing your lesson (let us know by phone or e-mail and we will schedule a new moment for you when you cancelled in time).

Price per hour: 19,50 euro

Materials, patterns & tools
Machines & tools are included in the lessons. Materials you have to provide yourself are fabrics, sewing thread, pins and, when needed, sewing supplies like a zipper or buttons.
We also have a little fabric store at our studio, so it is also possible to purchase the materials there. Or we can give you tips in the lessons where to go for extra materials, if needed.
You can bring your own ideas to the lessons (photos, drawings, garments or patterns of the pieces you want to upcycle). Together we can see how we can realise your projects. A lot of times we use a similar or basic pattern to adjust or we create our own. Also our store offers a some nice clothing patterns & books.

Expect the following teachers on the following days:

> Saturday Sewing Café 11.00 AM – 5.00 PM > Ines*
> Saturday Craft Café 11.00 AM – 5.00 PM > Andrea
> Sunday 11.00 AM – 5.00 PM > Katia*

*Ines and Katia will not teach in Dutch but in English (Ines can also guide you in Spanish or French), all the other teachers teach in both Dutch and English.
**Do you want to follow your lesson with a specific teacher? You can double-check by phone or e-mail if this person is there. Sometimes the schedule is a bit different because a teacher might not be available that specific date (especially in the period May till August, there are more schedule changes because of the Holidays of the teachers).
***IMPORTANT NOTE: if you don’t cancel your class in time, regardless of the reason (the deadline is 24 hours before your class starts), it will not be possible to redo the lesson cost-free.

Attention: for the entire month of June we will be closed, make sure you plan your lessons accordingly!
