On Saturday June 11 you can swap all your clothes, which you are tired of, but are still in good condition, for other gems. In addition to being super fun and satisfying your shopping urge, you’ll also contribute to a cleaner environment. It’s also nice for your wallet 😉

Tip: if you have points left over from last time, you can take them with you again this time, then we’ll count them with your new score!

Once again. we have a little extra in store for you; in addition to the clothing swap, we will have a Sample SALE! You can also buy samples from old collections of De Steek or samples made from fabric that we no longer sell. On top of that some of our teachers will sell their samples and/or products. Below you can find the list of the brands that will participate:

And the Sewing Café would not be a Café without snacks and drinks. Also this time there are vegan snacks and drinks available, to satisfy your hunger and thirst from all that shopping and swapping.

You don’t have to pay an entrance fee! We do ask you to make a reservation, so that we have an estimation of how many people will be there. Click here to make a reservation.

Below you will find the conditions that your items that you want to exchange must meet. You can always email or call us if you have any questions or comments. We are looking forward to having you!

𝐑𝐮𝐥𝐞𝐬:

1> Bring good looking & good quality items, so don’t bring cheap clothing that lost it’s shape, for example. But what’s allowed: amazing looking pieces with a small hole or stain: because we have an Upcycle Cafe ready to repair the items! (we will evaluate your damaged piece at the door, small damages and stains are allowed, but it should be still possible to fix it and should not be too complicated)

2> We will evaluate your pieces at the door and each item will get a ‘point’ (1, 2 or 3 points). You will get a card with the amount of points that you can use for swapping (for example, a jacket is 3 points, but a T-shirt is 1)

3> You can bring a max. of 8 garments!
