This is a follow-up to our Sewing Workshop Series: Basics 1.0! It doesn’t mean that you cannot join this course if you didn’t follow the first one. If you have some sewing experience and want to deepen your knowledge you can also start with the second course without doing the first. (the first is meant for beginners and this one for advanced beginners)

With this course you can learn the most important sewing techniques in a more structured way. In this course you will learn these techniques by making samples. Learn to create the perfect lapel, advanced pocket, bias binding and placket etc. This is an 4-day summer course (4 days x 4,5 hours). This course is meant for advanced beginners.

Day 1 – part 1:
> Pleats and tucks
Day 1 – part 2:
> Hong Kong seams and bias bound seams plus French seams
Day 2 – part 1:
> Jeans / trouser slashed pocket plus coin pocket addition
Day 2 – part 2:
> Welt pocket with optional added flap
Day 3 – part 1:
> Bias binding for armholes and necklines
Day 3 – part 2:
> Hidden button placket with buttonholes
Day 4 – part 1:
> Sleeve shirt placket
Day 4 – part 2:
> Lapelled collar with facings
