Book a Punch Needle Lesson in the Craft Café | Own Project

Join the Craft Café and get help with your punch needling project! Similar to normal loose lessons, you can book a time slot in our Craft Café. We have 6 tables available with tools and guidance by an expert crafter.

Our schedule is variable. In the schedule you can see which time slots are still available and which are not. You can either book a single time slot or buy multiple lessons at once.

Have you made a reservation but suddenly aren’t able to come anymore? You can still cancel or change your lesson at least 24 hours before the lesson starts without losing your lesson (let us know by phone or e-mail and we will schedule a new moment for you when you cancelled in time).

Materials, patterns, & tools
Tools are included in the lessons – you are welcome to use our punch needle, embroidery hoops, and tapestry needles, however, they should be left behind again unless bought. We also have a Beginner Punch Needle Kit which you can easily add to your lesson.
Materials you have to provide yourself are yarn and fabric – however we do have a yarn baskets full of yarns which you are welcome to use to learn your first stitches.
We also have a little craft store at our studio, making it simple to purchase any materials and tools you may still need during your lesson. Alternatively, we can give you tips about where to shop for extra materials, if needed.
You can bring your own ideas to the lessons (photos, drawings, garments or patterns of the pieces you want to create). Together we can see how we can realise your projects. A lot of the time, we use a similar or basic pattern to adjust or we create our own. Our store also offers a few lovely patterns & books.

*IMPORTANT NOTE: if you don’t cancel your class in time, regardless of the reason (the deadline is 24 hours before your class starts), it will not be possible to redo the lesson cost-free. Email us in time at info@desteekamsterdam.nl
**Reminder: our Craft Café caters to multiple crafts so remember that there will be other people working on their projects who will need help from the teacher working too.
